JAYNE MANSFIELD: MARISKA HARGITAY

We can all see that Mariska Hargitay took most of her 1950s Hollywood fame mother Jayne Mansfield’s looks, including her famous eye-catching smile. After gaining popularity from her role as New York Police Department Captain Olivia Benson in the NBC Drama Series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, fans have been in awe of the 56-year-old actress’s undeniable talent and youthful beauty. Her other notable appearances are in Saturday Night Live, Tales from Earthsea, and Chicago P.D.

Apart from the incredible success of her acting career, Hargitay is also fronting many advocacies, including the Joyful Heart Foundation. Most of her investments are poured out to charitable organizations – another reason for us to love her even more. In September 2011, she donated $100,000 to the UCLA School of Theater Film and Television, her alma mater. She is married to actor married Peter Hermann, with whom she has three kids: 2 sons and a daughter.
