TOM HANKS – $16K, SCION XB

Tom Hanks may be one of Hollywood’s best stars but his choice of daily drive may not be on par with his stature. The Castaway actor has been driving around with his Scion XB, a pretty cheap vehicle that costs around $16,000. The rest of the world refers to this as Toyota Bb. It has two engine options: first, a 1.3 Liter 2NZ-FE engine and the second one is the 1.5 liter 1NZ-FE. Both have four cylinder engines (Inline-four engine) but the differences with this car was its production date because Toyota Bb was first introduced before the XB and it has different features like the bucket seats which is absent in the Bb.

We don’t know if this was the advice of his financial advisor or his way of saying that “I only buy things that I need.” Either way, he can easily afford any luxury cars that he sets his eyes with and get away with it with a ton of money still in his bank account, he just chose not to.
