Marie Osmond was part of a family of performers who has been famous for a very long time now. Still, she eventually decided to pursue a solo career in the ‘70s and went her separate ways with her family. Her first solo hit was Paper Roses, which became extremely successful and made her a famous solo artist. Many people don’t know this since she does not brag about it often, but she is also an amazing businesswoman and author of several beauty and parenting books.

Unfortunately, she had some difficulties in her personal life when she experienced postpartum depression because she had a bad reaction to a medication she was taking. In 2010, she had to hire a lawyer to help her get rid of media scrutiny when her son committed suicide. With the help of some important people in her life, she is now living her life happily and without stress.
