Robert Redford is not just a legendary film actor, but he is also a director, producer, and environmentalist. He also founded the Sundance Film Festival, which has been influential in fueling the independent film industry in the United States. During the span of his career, Robert has appeared in more than 60 movies and has directed over 10 films, including the Oscar-winning “Ordinary People”. He is also a recipient of the Academy Lifetime Achievement Award.

He has won many honors during his career, including the 1996 the National Medal of Arts and the 2002 Academy Award for Lifetime Achievement.Redford married Lola Van Wagenen in Las Vegas in August 1958. They had four children together until they finally divorced in 1985.
